Who We Are

Moovalot is the first on-demand, app-based trailer rental company in the country. We built what rental counters never could: a way to grab a trailer in minutes, any time of day, without talking to a single person.

We park 5×8 utility trailers at retail locations across the Houston metro. You find one on the map, drive to it, and unlock it with your phone. That's the whole process.

Why We Built It

Renting a trailer used to mean driving to a hardware store, waiting behind a contractor at the rental counter, filling out paperwork, and hoping the trailer you needed wasn't already out. A 45-minute errand before your actual job even starts.

We thought that was a solvable problem. So we built an app, installed smart locks on trailers, and put them where people already shop. Now the whole rental — find, unlock, return, pay — happens on your phone.

How It Works

The Trailers

Our 5×8 open utility trailers handle up to 3,500 lbs with a standard 2" ball hitch, ramp gate, safety chains, and DOT-approved lights. Built for real jobs — furniture hauls, garage cleanouts, store pickups, small moves.

Enclosed trailers are available at select locations for loads that need weather protection.
